Robyn Rihanna, better popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados, is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known performer who has sold more than 41 million albums around the world and more than 150 million songs. Her birthplace was in Barbados and grew up to reggae. After she learned to sing, she became an accomplished singer. As a result of the chaos that surrounded her family as well as the disputes her parents had with each other, she decided to take up music. Then she realized that she was going to pursue a career as an artist. As a teenager she joined a rock band. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was awestruck. The producer asked her to relocate from her home in New York in order to pursue a full-time career in the field of singing, which she gladly did. Her debut album quickly became a hit and was described as the next big thing in music. The young people loved her upbeat songs, which led Rihanna to create films. Pretty young and highly talented Rihanna is now regarded as a popular teen star and model. Rihanna is known for good and actively supports several organizations.
