Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who made her name with smart raps that addressed sexuality and racial identities with the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop studies began when she was in her teens. Following a focus on education, she graduated with the degree of journalist in the college as well as a women's studies degree. After graduation, her focus shift to music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet hit and was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album featured other viral hits like the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. The last track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. The singer decided to make acting as a profession after having completed her two previous endeavors, author and musician. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors to Storks. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
